Jonathan Harned, Rev - b: 11 Jan 1761 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 23 Apr 1843; m: 19 Jun 1782, at Woodbridge, Elizabeth Johnson, b: 29 May 1776 at Woodbridge, d: 24 Jul 1857 at Woodbridge, dau. of Abraham and Deborah (Barron) Johnson. He was a minister and circuit rider in the Methodist Church. In 1850 was living with dau Deborah Dalley at Middlesex Co, NJ. They were buried at the Quaker Burial Yard.

Anna Harned - b: 4 May 1762 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 27 Sep 1805; m: 15 Sep 1788 Philip Brown, b: 18 Nov 1768 at Woodbridge, d: 13 Jul 1853 at Woodbridge, son of Thomas and Francis (Moores) Brown. He m2: her sister Elizabeth. He was a laborer at Middlesex Co, NJ. She was buried at Presbyterian Cemetery at Woodbridge.

5. Isaac M. Harned - b: 7 Nov 1763 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 2 Apr 1825 (1823?); m: ca. 1790 at Woodbridge, Sarah (Bloodgood) Merrill, b: 29 Apr 1769, d: 6 Nov 1865, widow of John Merrill and dau of Gach and Hannah (Tappen) Bloodgood. He shows in 1793 in the militia at Woodbridge. His will was dated 2 Apr 1825 at Woodbridge, and probated 30 Apr 1825. He refers to his own children (not by name), and to his step-dau Mary Merrill. Brother Nathan and wife Sarah are executors. In 1860 she and son Samuel were living at Woodbridge, she age 90. Sarah's mother was related to abolitionist Lewis Tappen.

5. Samuel Harned - b: 24 Feb 1765 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 13 Oct 1851 at Parrottsville, Cocke, TN; m: 19 Jul 1787 at Rockingham Co, VA, Rachel Crow; b: 19 Feb 1767 at Rockingham Co; d: 30 Sep 1851, Parrottsville, Cocke Co TN, dau. of Walter and Anna Crow. They settled on Oven Creek, near Parrottsville, TN, where he purchased 400 acres from Henry Miller on 10 Mar 1794. They were at Cocke Co, TN in 1840 and 1850. In 1850 they were living with son David and family. He was a surveyor. Samuel and his wife died a few days apart, on 30 Sep 1851 and 13 Oct 1851, and are buried in the Harneds Chapel Cemetery. He was a Quaker who converted to Methodist.

5. David Daniel Harned - b: 31 Jul 1766 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 7 Mar 1817 at NYC; m: 1787, Hannah Walker, b: Mar 1770 at Piscataway, Middlesex Co, NJ, d: 3 Nov 1823 at NYC, NY.

5. Jesse (or Jasper) Harned - b: 13 Mar 1768 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 16 Mar 1768 at Woodbridge. He was buried at the Quaker Burial Yard at Woodbridge.

Nathan Harned - b: 7 Jun 1769 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 18 Dec 1853 at Woodbridge; m: 24 Oct 1795 at Woodbridge, Mary Freeman, b: 14 Jul 1772, d: 26 Dec 1848 at Woodbridge, dau of Isaac and Phebe (Fitz Randolph) Freeman. Shown in 1793 militia at Woodbridge. In 1811 he appears on a NJ Tax List at Westfield, Essex Co, NJ. Will shows ownership of house, lot, barn and carriage shop in Rahway, Essex Co, NJ. They were buried at Methodist Cemetery, Woodbridge.

5. Zerriah Harned - b: 1 Mar 1773 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: ca. 1852; m: 13 Jun 1819 at Rahway, Essex Co, NJ, Jacob Harned [87], b: 9 Jul 1769, d: 5 Sep 1828, son of Jonathan and Sarah (Laing) Harned as his 2nd wife.

5. Elizabeth Harned - b: 20 Nov 1774 at Woodbridge, Middlesex Co, NJ; d: 23 Jul 1775 at Woodbridge. Buried at Quakers Burial Yard.
