Margaret Harned - b: Abt 1750, Ten Mile Creek, Washington, PA; d: Sep 1834, Hardin Co, KY; m: Abt 1773-74, Washington Co, PA, Alexander Keith - b: 1750, Hampshire, VA; d: 1824, Hardin Co, KY, son of John & Katherine (Chenowith) Keith. With her father, her husband, and several small children, she descended the Ohio River in 1780, to KY. They lived near Jonathan [15] in Nelson Co, KY and Hardin Co, KY. Both buried Old Union Cemetery, Hardin Co, KY.

5. Enos (Eneas) Harned - b: 22 Oct 1752, VA; d: 19 Oct 1830, Hardin Co, KY; buried: Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Vertrees, Hardin, KY; m: 1786, Deborah Comstock - b: 1763; d: 1829. He accompanied his father down the Ohio River in 1780, settling near him in Nelson Co, KY, and then in Hardin Co. Served as Private from Virginia in Revolutionary War. From 21 Oct 1782 to 25 Nov 1782 he served under Capt. James Samuels on an expedition against the indians under Gen. Clark. He shows on the 1800 Tax List, the 1810, 1820 and 1830 Census in Hardin Co, KY. His name appears third in the roll of members of the Union Baptist Church. Bought land in Nelson Co from father Jonathan in 1810. He was appointed administrator of his father's estate on 12 Apr 1813. In Enos's own will, dated 19 Oct 1830, his estate was to be divided equally between all children. The will mentions sons David and William Harned, as executors, along with sons-in-law Henry Lawson and George Hoskins.

Jonathan Harned - b: 11 May 1755; d: 30 May 1832, near Boston, KY; buried Boston, Nelson, KY; m: 18 Apr 1782, Bethlehem Township, Washington Co, PA, Catherine Arvacost - b: 1 Oct 1764, d: 28 Dec 1822, Boston, Nelson, KY. Both are buried at Little Brick Cemetery, Boston, KY. Catharine was prob. sister of Rebecca Arvacost who married John Hartley, and whose dau. Mary Hartley m: Nathaniel Harned [69]. He served in the Revolution under Thomas Gaddis, Virginia Militia at Fort Liberty, from 9 Sep 1776 to Jan 1777. On 4 Feb 1782 Lt. Jonathan Harned was in the Washington Co. PA militia. In 1781 he was in Bethlehem Township, Washington Co, PA. He joined his father in Kentucky in 1786, and shows on the 1800 Tax List in Hardin Co KY, and in the 1810, 1820 and 1830 Census shows at Nelson Co.

5. Nancy Harned - b: Abt 1761, Washington Co, PA; m: Isaac Rubel probably at Washington Co, PA. They settled in Nelson Co, KY bef. 1790.

5. William Harned - b: 1762; d: 21 Feb 1846; m: 19 Dec 1787 (lic), Nelson Co KY, Miriam Comstock - b: 18 Sep 1769; d: 28 Jan 1847, buried Boston, Nelson, KY, dau. of William and Rachel Comstock. She was probably relative of Deborah Comstock who married Enos (Eneas) Harned [62]. Isaac Ruble brother-in-law signed the marriage bond. William in 1782 served with Eneas (his brother Enos) Harnet in the Jefferson Co, KY militia under Capt. James Samuels. He shows in Hardin Co KY in the 1820, 1830 and 1840 Census.

5. Edward Harned - d: probably single in KY. On 15 Jan 1783 he entered 400 acres White Oak Run, of Froman's Creek, of Beech Fork where his brothers and sisters located. On 10 Feb 1789 Abner Luce made complaint against him, and Atkins Hill and Jonathan Arnet furnished bonds for the good behavior of Edward Harnet. Was Captain in the 2nd Regiment, Nelson Co, KY, Apr 1799. He appears on the tax-lists of Nelson Co, KY in 1792, 1793, 1795, 1796. He shows on the 1800 Tax List in Hardin Co KY, as possessor of 125 acres of first-rate land on Vertrees Creek. (no issue)

5. Benjamin Harned - b: 3 Jul 1774, probably Washington Co, PA; d: 22 May 1849, Christian Co., KY; m: (by J. Rogers) 19 Feb 1801, Nelson Co, KY, Hannah Colvin - b: 25 Dec 1783; d: 17 Jan 1852, dau of James & Barbara Decker (Kuykendall) Colvin. He shows on the 1800 Tax List in Hardin Co KY. On 24 Feb 1800 he bought 345 acres from John Keith. He later removed to Christian Co, KY, showing there in the 1810, 1820 and 1840 Census. She shows in 1850 Census Christian Co, KY.

Nathaniel Harned - b: 15 Nov 1777, at Ten Mile Creek, Washington Co, PA; d: 23 Apr 1855, Breckenridge Co, KY; m: 29 Mar 1804 (lic) at Hardin Co KY, Mary Hartley - b: 30 Sep 1783 at VA; d: 1858, Breckenridge Co, KY; dau. of John Hartley and Rebecca Arvacost. He shows on the 1800 Tax List in Hardin Co KY. He united with the Union Baptist Church, 22 Feb 1822 and was dismissed in Mar 1826, when he removed to Breckenridge Co, KY. He shows at Breckenridge Co in the 1830 and 1840 Census. In the 1850 Census he shows at age 73, a farmer, with wife Mary age 66. In 1860, widow Mary shows in Breckenridge Co, living with her son Ben.

5. Hannah Harned - b: 20 Oct 1782, Nelson Co, KY; d: 3 Apr 1847; m: 23 Jul 1801 (lic), Hardin Co KY, John Smither (Smithers) - b: 24 Oct 1774, d: 9 Dec 1836. They lived near Vertrees, and were members of Union Baptist Church.
